#2 Trishi Sarovar
In ‘Nainital,’ another mythical story is prominent. Once upon a time, three sages named Atri, Pustya, and Pulah were on their way to Gargachal. On the way, they came across this location. They were charmed by the beauty of this area, but they were unable to stay (stop) there owing to a lack of water. Trishul, on the other hand, was dug up by all three sages. Water flowed out of the soil from these three spots as a result of their efforts, and the ‘Taal’ was built here. As a result, some academics refer to this rhythm as ‘Trishi Sarovar.’

Ram Tal, Sita, and Lakshman Tal are the three characters in it. It is 19 meters in length, 315 meters in width, and has a depth of up to 150 meters. This Tal is distinguished by the fact that it is linked to a continuous succession of Sat Tals. That’s why it’s known as ‘Sat Tal.’ While this Tal is well-known for its natural beauty, it is equally well-known for human art. This is why this Tal is regarded as the greatest among all Kumaon residents.
#14 Nal-Damyanti Tal
Nal Daimanti Tal is also included in the Sat Tal count. This Tal is located on the road leading from Mahara village to Sat- Tal. This Tal has a pentagonal form. According to beliefs, it occasionally contains chopped fish pieces. Nal-Damyanti is supposed to have resided near this Tal during his darkest days. They’ve also flown away with the fish they’d chopped and put in the pan. The same chopped fish is believed to occur in that Tal. Fishing is prohibited in this lake.
