Why BCom Honours?

In the Commerce stream, the institution provides two types of degrees:

  • BCom
  • BCom (H)

BCom (H) program is one of the most sought and pursued graduate degrees in the field of Commerce. It provides extensive knowledge in main/core subjects and this is the primary difference between a general BCom and Honours course. It’s a three year UG level program that covers many important topics like Taxation, Economics, Financial Management, Accounting and more. This program is offered by the Department of Commerce, University of Delhi.

The course fee for the BCom (H) course is 4040 INR/year. Students have the option to pay the fee entirely annually. Students are requested to check the eligibility criteria first before taking admission to the course. Detailed instructions are available on the official prospectus of the university.

The rich course curriculum and nomenclature of these Honours programs make them unique as compared to general BCom programs. The institution provides flexibility to the candidates, especially those who are working professionals and who don’t want to pursue regular programs for their own reasons.
