Green & Playful Perth: Artificial Grass, Decking & Play Equipment

Modern composite materials are created using a combination of different products. They usually include wood fibers, plastic and other binding agents.

The result is a robust and durable deck requiring less maintenance than timber. It can also withstand extreme climate conditions, such as hot Australian summers.

One disadvantage of composite is its price tag, which is higher than that of traditional timber. However, you can recoup these costs in the long run as it need fewer repairs and maintenance.

Artificial Grass Perth

Artificial Grass Perth is becoming increasingly popular, particularly in saving on maintenance expenses and water bills. It’s also an eco-friendly option that can be a wise investment in areas where water is scarce. When choosing a suitable turf variety, it’s essential to consider your lifestyle. Some types of fake lawns are designed to be pet-friendly and withstand heavy foot traffic, while others offer a more natural aesthetic or are softer underfoot.

One of the most significant advantages of synthetic lawns is that they require minimal upkeep, saving you time and money. You won’t have to worry about mowing, weeding, and watering, which can be particularly laborious during Perth’s dry summer months. You can focus more on spending quality time with your family and pets.

Synthetic lawns can last up to 20 years and are easy to clean. They are also durable against weather and are a safe environment for children to play in. However, it’s essential to choose a high-quality synthetic grass that is made from sustainable materials. Choose a supplier that sources raw materials from trusted manufacturers and has good manufacturing practices. This will ensure that you get the best product for your money. A reliable supplier will also provide industry-competitive rates and excellent customer service.

Composite Decking Perth

Composite decking Perth is a new alternative that merges plastic’s durability with timber’s natural look. It is a low-maintenance option for outdoor living spaces, and it is easy to keep clean with the occasional rinse with a hose. It is also resistant to fungus, mildew and other harmful organisms. Composite decking is also made of recycled materials, making it an environmentally friendly choice for your home.

In addition to its aesthetic appeal, composite decking offers many benefits for Perth homeowners. It is more durable than traditional timber and will not split or warp. It is also moisture-resistant, so it will not rot or attract insects. Additionally, it will not require staining or painting, saving you time and money.

This premium line of eco-friendly decking is available in various natural colors. Its seamless design prevents water from collecting between the boards, which can lead to problems such as mold growth and wood rot. InfinityTM is made from reclaimed wood and recycled plastic films such as grocery bags, paper towel overwraps and more. These materials are mixed with a proprietary blend of resins to produce the InfinityTM board. These durable, attractive, cost-effective composite boards are perfect for your home.

Playground Equipment Perth

We manufacture a wide selection of playground equipment in Perth and can customize any design to suit your space. Please choose from our catalogue of swings, climbing frames and slides or get in touch to have us create an entirely new playground. Our playground equipment range is ideal for local public parks and school environments.

Changes to playground design standards aimed at decreasing the risk of severe injury and increasing inclusivity have resulted in significant increases in the use of engineered surfaces such as synthetic (aka artificial) turf and wet-pour rubbers. These surface types are typically installed over a styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) crumbs base layer and polyurethane binder.

To test the impact of these changes on skin burn risks, we measured the surface temperatures of ten playground equipment and floor material combinations at selected urban locations in densely populated suburban Sydney (NSW, Australia). Surface temperature measurements were taken in the late morning to early afternoon on hot, sunny days during the summers of 2019, 2020 and 2021. Simultaneous infrared and red-green-blue images were recorded for each playground equipment and floor surface type. Burn threshold values and exceedances were calculated for each piece of equipment. Surface temperatures were also compared to the ambient air temperature of each location.
