Method 4: Rename CPS Folder in The System
- First of all, update the QuickBooks Payroll Tax table.
- After that, check the issue is resolved or not; if the error continues, then follow the further steps;
- Open system
- Go to the local drive->programs files->intuit -> QuickBooks20XX->components->payroll->CPS.
- XX is the sign of a year of QuickBooks like QB 2019 OR QB 2018 etc.
- Change the name of the CPS folder CPSSOLD, now check if the error is resolved or not.
- Then Update the QuickBooks desktop and the payroll Tax Table again and check whether the problem is resolved or not.
Method 5: UAC (Disable User Account Control)
- Open the Window Run Program by pressing & hold window +R on the keyboard.
