Here’s a round-up of some of my beauty favorites for May. I’d love to hear what you are loving this summer! Leave me a comment and your blog link below!
May faves
Funny story too….I thought I grabbed my bottle of Beautisol sunless tanner mousse for this picture. I *just* noticed that this is the Beautisol Tea Tan wash off the bronzer. I bet I used that instead of the sunless tanner the other night too. Oops….oh well, I love them both!!
On to the rest of my May favorites!
Perlier Honey shower cream – I am in love with all my Perlier products from the travel set. This is such a gorgeous scent. It smells just like fresh clover honey and sunshine! The full review will be up soon!
Pssssssst! dry shampoo – I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos and disliked them all. This is the only one I like! I have been trying not to wash my hair too often, as it’s SO dry and falling out.
Bed Head by Tigi Sugar Shock – This is a root boosting product, much different from other root boosters. I don’t get a weighed down, crunchy, filmy mess at my roots with this. I use it on freshly washed hair and massage it into my scalp well. After a little blast from the blow dryer, I have volume! It smells awesome too, like Pink Sugar, without the pink.
Donna Karan Cashmere Mist deodorant – Yes, it’s weird to have deodorant on my monthly favorites. BUT, it’s summer! I have super sensitive pits and I don’t want to stink. I don’t know what it is about this, but the formula just works for me! It’s really gentle and smells great.
Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara – I haven’t found a mascara I’ve liked this much in a looooong time! I guess I am super picky about my mascara, but there is a lot to think about! I don’t like mascaras that irritate my eyes, are too wet, flake or smudge…You know! I guess I haven’t found my HG mascara yet. I love a wiggly flexible brush with spiny bristles. It works really well to get into tiny areas. The formula is great too. I like my lashes a bit more volumized than this mascara provides, but that is easily fixed by layering mascaras.
Ageless Derma Retinol and Vitamin K eye cream – I have only been using this for several weeks but I love it already! My under eyes are dry and tend to look crepey if I don’t moisturize often enough, and with a good quality moisturizer. This eye cream has retinol, vitamin K (said to help reduce dark under-eye circles), vitamin E, green tea extracts, peptides, and Coenzyme Q10. I love skincare products that are packed with ingredients like these! I haven’t found this cream (I use it 3 nights a week) to be drying at all. I’m really happy to have found an eye cream that will treat my fine lines and black circles AND moisturize at the same time! I will keep you posted on my long term results.
I’d love to hear your May favorites, so feel free to leave a comment below! Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
